Picnic
The Great American picnic proves to be just as entertaining as the bands themselves. This is a free event for those who wish to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. A fee* is charged only for those wishing to buy a table and eight chairs. It's a great chance to experience the creativity of festival-goers as they come together to plan themes and decorate their tables. *The tax deductible donation supports the festival.
The event is highlighted with family, friends, food and the sound of brass music filling the summer evening's air.
Great American Decorator Picnic on Saturday
Reserve a front-row seat for dinner and music with family and friends on the Centre College lawn. Bring blankets and lawn chairs or reserve a table for a tax-deductible donation of $150. Call Pat Liebschutz at 859-236-7000 for more information. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Judging starts at 6 p.m.
