NYPD officer to sing Sunday

The Great American Brass Band Festival's morning worship service and evening performances Sunday are scheduled to include songs by New York Police Department officer and acclaimed tenor Daniel Rodriguez. 
Rodriguez is scheduled to sing "God Bless America" and "The Lord's Prayer" at the community church service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
In a "Celebrate America" program at 6 p.m. Sunday, he will present songs from his "Spirit of America" CD with The Advocate Brass Band, Millennium Brass and Marine Band Brass Quintet. Both programs are scheduled for the Centre College Main Stage.
In a "Moment of Remembrance" at 6 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday, the Great American Brass Band Festival will honor veterans and current members of the military and firefighters, police officers and emergency personnel.
