Mississauga Temple Band of The Salvation Army

Under the leadership of Bandmaster David Moulton, the Mississauga Temple Band is an ensemble that has developed its own successful concert series, in addition to its main function of providing musical accompaniment to weekly worship services at the Mississauga Temple Community Church. Made up entirely of amateur musicians, the band is very active in its community, just outside of Toronto, Canada. From playing hymns for residents of local nursing homes and performing concerts in such world class venues as the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, the band is working to advance the mission of The Salvation Army, wherever it goes.
Along with its parent congregation, the band has just celebrated its 30th year of Christian service in the Mississauga community. In its latest CD entitled "Credo", the band features soloist Brett Baker, the principal trombonist of the world famous Black Dyke Band.
Widely acclaimed as one of the finest amateur brass bands in Canada, the Mississauga Temple Band has shared the Gospel message throughout North America, having been featured in many exciting regional events, such as the Tournament of Roses Parade in California. The band's next American engagement will see them participate at the City of Pittsburgh's annual Thanksgiving Day parade.
