Welcome to the virtual homestead of The Great American Brass Band Festival, Danville, Kentucky's free, non-profit brass band extravaganza held annually in June!

Festivities are held in mid-June, beginning on a Thursday with an old-fashioned Chautauqua tea gathering.

2011 Festival Dates TBA

Festival highlights include: a balloon race; continuous music beginning Friday evening featuring over a dozen brass bands; a parade; a decorator picnic; fireworks extravaganza and so much more! Stay a while and read about the fun and festivities!

Matthew Rodgers is the winner of the Great American Brass Band Festival poster contest. His artwork is pictured above. About 50 public votes as well as judges' votes were made during the competition. All of the entries will be displayed in June at the Community Arts Center.
