Welcome to the virtual homestead of The Great American Brass Band Festival, Danville, Kentucky's free, non-profit brass band extravaganza held annually in June!

Festivities are held in mid-June, beginning on a Thursday with an old-fashioned Chautauqua tea gathering.

Planning ahead? Mark your calendar for the 2008 Great American Brass Band Festival on June 12-15, 2008!

Festival highlights include: a balloon race; continuous music beginning Friday evening featuring over a dozen brass bands; a parade; a decorator picnic; fireworks extravaganza and so much more! Stay a while and read about the fun and festivities!

The festival is hosted by Danville's hometown band -- the Advocate Brass Band.  Click to order or learn more about Advocate Brass Band CDs.

Webmaster's tip: Wear comfortable shoes, bring an umbrella or raincoat, a blanket, a camera, some sunscreen and a lawn chair!
