**Dejan's Olympia Brass Band**

Dejan's Olympia Brass Band, more than 100 years old, is one of the most well-known New Orleans brass bands around. They have played our festival since the very first. Alto saxophonist Harold "Duke" Dejan revived the Olympia Brass Band to helped save this important New Orleans musical culture. The band has spawned two other groups: the Young Olympians (also known as the Soul Rebels) and the Olympia Kids.
