The Chautauqua Tea will be held at 4-6 p.m. June 10 at The Tea Leaf, locate   at 230 W. Broadway. Tickets are $13 each. Reservations are necessary. Call 236-7456.

The event recreates the atmosphere of a turn-of-the-century afternoon tea and a Chautauqua gathering, where traveling companies brought cultural events to rural areas.

The festival itself will be held June 11-13.

One-half of the proceeds go to the Brass Band Festival.
