1997 Chautauqua Tea
``Rags and Tales''
This year's Chautauqua Tea entitled "Ragtime and Tales" will be held on June 12, 1997 at the Tea Leaf Restaurant, located at 230 West Broadway in Danville.
The program begins at 3:30 p.m. and Tea begins at 4 p.m.
This year's program features ``Tweedie'' Minor, longtime Danville resident performing ragtime music and Dr. Paul Cantrell telling tales.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Tea Leaf.
Space is limited and reservations are required. For reservations call the Tea Leaf at 236-7456.
One-half of the proceeds go to the Brass Band Festival.
