The Great American Brass Band Festival

Centre College and the Great American Brass Band Festival invite you to participate in the 1997 conference on American Band History. The conference will be presented on Friday, June 13, in Weisiger Theatre of the Norton Center for the Arts on the campus of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Leading authorities from throughout the United States will address a variety of topics related to music of the ragtime era, with particular attention to the relationship of ragtime music to bands.

The registration fee of $25.00 covers all conference presentations, lunch, and refreshments at the morning and afternoon breaks. Early registration is suggested. Other events of the GREAT AMERICAN BRASS BAND FESTIVAL will continue Friday evening, and on Saturday and Sunday, June 14 and 15.
