2001 Band History Conference
Centre College and the Great American Brass Band Festival invite you to
participate in this unique conference devoted to American Band History.
The conference will be presented 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on
Friday, June 15, in Weisiger Theatre of the Norton Center for the Arts on the campus of
Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
This year's conference investigates topics ranging from Sousa to
Custer's Seventh Cavalry Band.
The registration fee of $35.00 covers all conference materials and presentations,
as well as the picnic lunch and refreshments at the morning and afternoon breaks. Early
registration is recommened. Other events of the Great American Brass Band Festival will
continue through Sunday, June 17.
